Employment Package Overview
We have access to far too many specific teaching
positions to be able to list them all here and therefore the vacancy profiles
described below are generalisations designed to give an indication of
requirement. All specific roles will have slight variation as will the
experience and qualifications of each candidate. Our aim and ethos will be to
guide each candidate to the most appropriate role and then support both the
candidate and the school throughout their tenure.
Education – Bachelor Degree or above with education related major
where possible.
Location – Throughout China and including Guangdong, Shenzhen,
Beijing, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Shanghai, Jiangxi, Hubei, Hebei, Anhui, Hunan and
Guizhou.
Contract – Generally a minimum one year contract * that will include
accommodation / residence allowance, international flights, insurances, working
visa procurement and monthly salary.
*Consultant contracts may be short term.
Working hours – may vary but a general guide is office hours of 8am – 5pm.
Teachers are required to complete 16 – 20 teaching periods per week with each
period of 40 – 50 minutes duration.
Spoken English Teachers
- Delivering
beginner, intermediate and advanced spoken English
- Kindergarten,
Primary and Secondary schools
- Salary
between RMB 6000 and 12000 per month dependent upon qualifications and
experience
Extra-curricular Teachers
- Delivering
Dance, Art, Music, Musical Instruments, Sport
- Primary
and Secondary Schools
- Salary
between RMB 6000 and 8000 per month depending upon qualifications and experience
International Course Teachers
- Delivering
A Level subjects, International Baccalaureate
- Secondary
Schools and Colleges
- Salary
between RMB 8000 and 28000 per month depending upon qualifications and
experience
Spoken English Interns or Business Interns
(Undergraduate)
- Assisting
to deliver spoken English at an elementary level
- Kindergarten,
Primary and Secondary schools
- Salary
between RMB 3000 per month plus all other benefits
Consultants and Teacher Trainers (Master’s
Degree or above)
- Delivering
teaching methods and other training for staff
- Primary
and Secondary schools
- Salary
between RMB 12000 and 25000 per month dependent upon qualifications and
experience
- Project
durations may vary but are primarily short term
Supervisors and Senior Managers (Master’s Degree
or above)
- Responsible
for school administration and educational management
- Primary
and Secondary schools
- Salary
between RMB 20000 and 80000 per month dependent upon qualifications,
experience and role requirements
